German Spine Registry

The registry of the Spine Society of Germany (Deutsche Wirbelsäulengesellschaft, DWG) records data on the patient and their main pathology, the applied surgical measures as well as the surgeon-assessed outcome of the treatment. In addition, Patient-Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs) are collected too. The registry provides quality control (hospital benchmark reports) and represents a valuable source of data for research in spinal surgery.
